Frequently Asked Questions

What workout formats are available?

Gymkee supports 12 formats: classic sets, supersets, tri-sets, giant sets, circuits, AMRAP, Tabata, EMOM, E2MOM, E3MOM, E4MOM, and E5MOM. Each format displays with the right timer and structure in the client app.

Can I create my own set fields?

Yes. In addition to built-in fields (weight, reps, RPE, % of max, 4-phase tempo, rest), you can add your own custom metrics.

How do alternative exercises work?

You assign one or more alternative exercises to any movement. The client sees the main exercise plus your alternatives and can substitute on the fly without contacting you.

Can I copy exercises between sessions?

Yes. Copy-paste works at the exercise and entire session level. Select, copy, and paste into any session.

Do my clients see my coaching notes?

Yes. Your notes appear directly on each exercise in the client's Gymkee app. Your instructions are visible just before each set.
